His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, has raised the UAE flag on the mast of "Bani Yas P110" corvette, announcing its official inauguration into the fleet of the UAE Naval Forces.
Taking to his official social media handle, Sheikh Mansour said Bani Yas P110 represents a "qualitative addition to our naval forces to meet current and future challenges".
Produced by the French shipbuilder Naval Group, the Bani Yas is the first of two Gowind 2500 corvettes to be built under a contract signed in 2019 between Naval Group and the UAE.
