Dubai’s Department of Economic Development is getting tough on gyms and health clubs caught promoting banned drugs and steroids. It's also stepping up inspections and holding awareness campaigns targeting consumers and traders. Authorities have warned violators of hefty penalties, including fines and temporary closure of their facilities.
