A red and yellow alert has been issued on Thursday by the UAE weather bureau as dense fog reduced visibility across some parts of the country.
Issuing the alert, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said poor horizontal visibility will continue until at least 9am.
It said visibility might drop further at times over some Western coastal and internal areas.
UAE drivers are advised to take caution on the road during foggy conditions.
