The new members of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council have taken the oath of office before UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in a ceremony on Friday.
His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, was also in attendance of the ceremony.
Those taking the oath were Shamis Ali Al Dhaheri, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Department of Community Development, and Mohamed Taj Eddine Ahmed Alqadi, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge.
Sheikh Mohamed congratulated the new members of the council and wished all members continued success in carrying out their duties to strengthen government systems in Abu Dhabi.
The UAE leader further affirmed that enhancing quality of life at all levels across the Abu Dhabi emirate remains a key priority and sustained approach.
