NYE: Trucks banned from entering Abu Dhabi city

Heavy vehicles and some buses will be banned from entering Abu Dhabi city on New Year's Eve.

The restrictions will be in place for 24 hours, running from 7:00 am on Friday, December 31 until Saturday, January 1.

Trucks and 50-seat buses transporting workers will be prohibited from entering Abu Dhabi Island during this period.

However, logistics and general cleaning company vehicles are exempted.
