As many as 1,379 private establishments have been caught violating Emiratisation rules since mid-2022.
During this period, a total of 2,170 fake cases of Emiratisation were detected by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE).
Legal measures have been taken against the companies involved, including imposing fines ranging from AED 20,000 to AED 100,000 and referring them to the public prosecution, depending on the severity of the offence.
The violating firms are also downgraded to the lowest category within MoHRE's private sector classification system.
The ministry said that more than 20,000 establishments have been found complying with Emiratisation policies, with the total number of Emirati employees in the private sector currently exceeding 97,000.
