More students in Dubai's private schools are now engaging in face-to-face lessons than distance learning.
According to the Knowledge & Human Development Authority (KHDA), 52 per cent of pupils are back in the classroom, which is the highest rate reported during this academic year.
The private education regulator revealed that 97 per cent of eligible school staff have taken at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
It also added that student enrolment at Dubai’s private schools have increased by 3.9 per cent since September 2020.
"It’s great to see that parents have placed their confidence and trust in schools and that the government’s safety protocols continue to be rigorously implemented. It’s also great that students are able to spend time with their friends and teachers in person every day," said Dr. Abdulla Al Karam, Director General of KHDA.
