UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received a phone call from Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., during which they discussed the situation in the region amid ongoing military escalation.
Marcos condemned the Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and other countries, and reaffirmed the Philippines’ solidarity with the UAE in all measures to safeguard its sovereignty, security and the safety of its people.
Sheikh Mohamed thanked the Philippine President for his country’s supportive stance.
Both leaders also stressed the need for an immediate halt to the military escalation and emphasised the importance of dialogue and diplomacy to prevent further threats to regional and international security and stability.
