Abu Dhabi residents will soon have access to data that can help visualise electricity and water consumption.

This will be made possible using the Energy and Water Consumption Heat Map Dashboard unveiled by the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy at GITEX Technology Week.

This data is expected to be provided to residential customers, building owners and energy managers.

The objective of the dashboard is to present information that provides clarity about zone-based consumption patterns.

This means, residents can visualise the electricity and water performance of plots and buildings and start opting for better-performing units or improve consumption patterns.

The new tool aims to reduce electricity consumption by 22 per cent and water consumption by 32 per cent within the next decade.
