Ras Al Khaimah has the highest number of visitors ever recorded as nearly 200,000 tourists went to the emirate. That’s according to the RAK Tourism Development Authority, which announced a 14% increase in visitor numbers during this year’s third quarter, compared to the same period in 2014. Officials say the figures are encouraging, as they work towards their target of one million visitors by the end of 2018. The top five source markets for the emirate include the UAE, Germany, UK, Russia and India.
