Isha and Tarawih prayers are being broadcast live across the UAE from the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Ras Al Khaimah.
The emirate’s General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments revealed that residents can livestream the prayers during the last 10 nights of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The prayers will only be carried out by the imam and two other worshippers, taking into consideration all precautionary measures adopted by the authorities to contain the spread of COVID-19.
The step aims to maintain the spiritual nature of the fasting month.
