Region’s first house built with 3D printing technologies has been inaugurated in Sharjah.
This was announced by Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTI Park).
The house reflects traditional architecture while highlighting Arab design and heritage. Following research between different universities, the house was built in two weeks.
Hussain Al Mahmoudi, CEO of SRTI Park said that they aim to use the same technology for building more homes in Sharjah.
“It will support Sharjah's economy and the emirate's competitiveness, in addition to activating the role of true partnership between the academic, economic and private sectors,” Hussain Al Mahmoudi said.
