His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces has been made an honorary professor of one of China’s top universities.
Sheikh Mohamed received the title from Tsinghua University in Beijing in recognition of his support for science, technology and innovation.
He expressed his happiness and pride in receiving the certificate that, he said, "comes from one of the oldest scientific universities in the world".
Tsinghua University is a major research university and a member of the elite C9 League of Chinese universities.
His Highness is currently on the last leg of a three-day state visit to China.
Several major deals, aimed at boosting economic ties have been signed during the trip.
