Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, has held a series of meetings with leading cultural and creative figures during an official visit to Sweden.
Leading a high-level UAE delegation, Sheikha Latifa met with female leaders from the fields of public policy, innovation, healthcare, technology and education to discuss ways to strengthen women's participation in leadership and decision-making.
The discussions focused on successful models for empowering women, developing talent and promoting sustainable social and economic growth.
As part of the visit, Sheikha Latifa also met with Swedish cultural and creative leaders at Stockholm's Vasa Museum, where she toured exhibits highlighting the country's maritime history and heritage.
Talks centred on the role of culture and creative industries in enhancing quality of life, supporting economic growth and attracting talent.
Both sides highlighted the strong alignment between the UAE and Sweden in viewing the creative economy as a key driver of innovation and development, and exchanged ideas on policies and best practices that support the growth of the sector.
