Six establishments have been shut in Dubai for violating health and safety protocols that have been put in place to curb the spread of COVID-19.
During the latest round of inspections, officials from Dubai Municipality checked 222 outlets.
One salon was closed in Naif for overcrowding, while four laundries in Naif and Al Rigga were pulled up for flouting health and hygiene protocols.
Meanwhile, one food outlet in Al Wasl was shut for not complying with the social distancing guideline.
Six more establishments were fined and warnings were issued to four others.
