With the new school term starting on Monday, January 2, Abu Dhabi Police have issued a reminder for motorists about school bus safety.
A video posted on Twitter by the police department outlines the fines applicable for those who fail to wait when a school bus pulls out the 'stop' sign.
Drivers can be fined up to AED 1000 for not stopping. The penalties applies to vehicles on either side of the bus.
