Students in schools across the UAE will soon learn about the importance of making environmentally responsible choices.
A new programme, launched by Madar Farms, will train teachers to educate youth about food sustainability.
The initiative, titled Sustainable Futures, will raise awareness about current environmental challenges that are being faced today both in the country and around the world.
Pupils will learn about the future of food production and will explore the use of new technologies that meet global needs.
Several schools in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah have already registered for the programme for the new academic year.
