Don’t be surprised if you notice changes to the Dubai Metro cabin reserved for women and children.
The pink-coloured carriage has been relocated from the Gold Class area to the other end of the train.
It’s part of changes announced by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) last month.
Mohammed Yousef Al Mudharreb, Director of Rail Operation at the RTA, explains the reasons behind the decision.
To facilitate your mobility, the women and children's cabin has been relocated to the opposite end of the gold class cabin in the metro. #DubaiMetro sets your comfort as a priority. pic.twitter.com/0kn0lqnuT2
