The third UAE aid ship, carrying 4,630 tonnes of humanitarian supplies, set sail for Egypt's Al Arish port before it heads to the Gaza Strip.
The ship, which departed from the Port of Fujairah, is carrying 4,218.3 tonnes of food, 370.2 tonnes of shelter materials, and 41.6 tonnes of medical aid, in addition to six water tanks, two septic tanks, and a diesel storage tank.
A total of 267 trucks transported the aid from Emirates Red Crescent, Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation onto the ship.
It's part of Operation "Gallant Knight 3" to support the Palestinian people during the conflict.

So far, the UAE has launched a number of initiatives for Gaza, including the setting up of two field hospitals, one inside the Gaza Strip and a floating hospital off the coast of Al Arish city. The country has also set up five automatic bakeries, and supplies flour to eight more bakeries in Gaza.
It has also established six desalination plants that produces 1.2 million gallons of water per day to help more than 600,000 people.
Since launching Operation "Birds of Goodness", the UAE has airdropped 486 tonnes of relief supplies to isolated areas in the northern Gaza Strip that cannot be reached by land.
