Six judges of the Court of Cassation and 19 senior appeal judges took their oath before His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, on Monday.
The swearing-in ceremony also included one advocate general and five assistant chief prosecutors.
Sharjah's Deputy Ruler congratulated the judges and consultants and wished them success in performing their duties of upholding justice and the rule of law.
He highlighted their contributions towards safeguarding public and private rights, upholding the principles of justice and integrity, and reinforcing societal stability.
The group expressed their sincere gratitude and affirmed their commitment to discharging their duties with integrity.
