Fire in Dubai hotel leaves two dead

Two people have died in a hotel fire in Dubai in the early hours of Saturday morning.

It's believed the two individuals died from smoke inhalation, the Dubai Media Office reported.

Two deaths due to a fire at a hotel in the Naif area in Dubai, as a result of smoke inhalation. Dubai Civil Defense teams arrived on-site within 6 minutes, immediately initiating evacuation, firefighting, and providing support to those affected. Dubai Civil Defense teams arrived on-site within six minutes at the hotel in Dubai's Naif area, working quickly to extinguish the fire and evacuate the building.

The General Directorate of Civil Defense expressed heartfelt condolences to the victims' families.
