UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Abu Dhabi.
The talks focused on strengthening bilateral ties and expanding cooperation in key sectors that support the development goals of both countries.
The two leaders also discussed regional and international developments, including the situation in the Middle East.
They stressed the importance of implementing the Gaza ceasefire agreement, ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid, and advancing efforts toward a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to close coordination in support of regional peace, stability and prosperity.
During his visit, El-Sisi also toured the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, where he was briefed on its academic programmes and research in advanced technologies.
El-Sisi later departed Abu Dhabi, where he was seen off by Sheikh Mohamed.
