The UAE and UK have emphasised their support for the international push to develop a COVID-19 vaccine during talks in Abu Dhabi.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, discussed the issue during his meeting with the British Minister of State for Middle East and North Africa, James Cleverly.
Sheikh Abdullah and Cleverly reviewed the latest pandemic developments and cooperation between the two countries to contain the virus.
They also discussed the UAE and the UK's strategic and historic relations as well as regional and international issues.
Sheikh Abdullah commended the continuous cooperation between the two countries in various fields, in a way that reflects the aspirations of the nations' leadership and to serve the common interests of their people.
