UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations with Azerbaijan's leader Ilham Aliyev in Abu Dhabi.
The meeting reviewed cooperation in support of shared development as part of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership signed earlier in July between the two countries, noting that it represented a major step expected to deliver significant outcomes.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to collaborating in several areas, including the economy, investment, food security, renewable energy, and sustainability.
The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Earlier, Aliyev was received upon his arrival in Abu Dhabi Presidential airport by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court.
