UAE Cabinet approves housing package worth AED 1.68 billion

The UAE Cabinet has approved a new housing package worth over AED 1.68 billion for Emiratis.

The amount will cover a total of 2,160 applications under the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, said that the Cabinet has also approved the 'Manzili' project to streamline and simplify the home loan assistance process.

'Manzili' will offer a bundle of 18 housing services to citizens in collaboration with 24 federal and local government entities.

It will simplifying the overall customer journey by reducing the involved entities from 11 to 1, the documents required from 10 to 2 and procedures from 14 to 3, while reducing service fields from 32 to 5.

These decisions coincide with Eid Al Adha and are aimed at achieving social stability. They are also aligned with the UAE's efforts to enhance the living standards of citizens.
