A sixth shipment of humanitarian aid from the UAE has arrived in Afghanistan, as the country continues to support communities affected by the recent earthquakes.
With this latest delivery, the total UAE aid has surpassed 250.3 tonnes, transported through seven planes and 21 trucks.
The shipment carried 6,696 food baskets,1,030 tents, 850 blankets, and a shipment of dates weighing 28 tonnes, national news agency Wam reported. In Samangan province, a total of 1,188 food baskets, 450 tents, and 850 blankets were distributed, along with the arrival of the seventh plane carrying a shipment of dates to support affected families.
The efforts are being conducted under the directives of the UAE's wise leadership and reflects the country's steadfast commitment to supporting communities affected by natural disasters.
