The UAE has condemned an attempted terrorist operation in Saudi Arabia's Dammam city.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation praised Saudi security forces, after they stopped a car on King Saud Street where five kilograms of explosive chemicals compounds were found.
Two of the three individuals found in the vehicle were identified as Saudi nationals, while the third suspect's identity is yet to be revealed.
The Ministry reiterated the UAE's firm position and solidarity with Saudi Arabia in dealing with such acts of terrorism and expressed its support for measures taken by the Kingdom to protect its security and stability.
Investigations are still underway.
