The UAE has strongly condemned an attack by Israeli settlers on a European diplomatic delegation visiting the village of Taybeh in the occupied West Bank.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the incident violates international law and diplomatic protections, further worsening tensions and undermining efforts to achieve peace and stability.
The ministry has called for an independent and transparent investigation, with those responsible held accountable.
It also urged the international community to act to stop ongoing Israeli violations and prevent further escalation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and the wider region.
The UAE reiterated the importance of supporting regional and international efforts towards a comprehensive and just peace, while ending practices that undermine the two-state solution.
