UAE condemns school shooting incident in Tatarstan

The UAE has condemned a school shooting incident which took place in Kazan, the capital of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) affirmed that the UAE rejects all forms of violence and extremism in all its forms.

Nine people were killed and 22 others, mostly children, were injured in the incident. A 19-year-old suspect was reportedly arrested.

The UAE has also expressed its sincere condolences to the government of Tatarstan and to the victims’ families.
