UAE condemns stabbing incident of Comoros President

The UAE has strongly condemned the stabbing attack on Azali Assoumani, President of Comoros, which resulted in his injury.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed deep sympathy for this tragic incident and extended solidarity to President Assoumani's family, as well as to the government and people of the Union of the Comoros.

The UAE reaffirmed its categorical condemnation of such criminal and extremist acts, emphasising its rejection of all forms of violence.

The Ministry also wished President Assoumani a full and swift recovery.
