UAE denies ownership of Libya weapons

The UAE has denied ownership of weapons found in Libya.

According to the national news agency WAM, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has also reaffirmed the country's commitment to the United Nations’ security council resolutions on sanctions and arms embargo.

It also urged all parties to de-escalate tensions and to re-engage in the UN’s political process.
