The foreign ministers of the UAE and the Netherlands have discussed the latest developments in the Middle East and efforts to safeguard the lives of civilians.
During a phone call on Friday, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Hanke Bruins Slot emphasised the importance of the ceasefire that has been reached in the Gaza Strip, and its role in intensifying the delivery of relief and medical aid.
Sheikh Abdullah affirmed the UAE's support for all regional and international efforts aimed at ending extremism and violence in the region.
He also underscored the importance of sustaining the delivery of humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza in a safe and intensive manner.
