UAE team continues humanitarian mission in Libya

The UAE Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) team has initiated two centres in Libya's Derna region to identify flood victims of Hurricane Daniel.

In collaboration with Libya's General Authority for the Search and Identification of Missing Persons, two centers of the "central body identification line" will be at Bab Tobruk and Sheja to communicate with the families of missing individuals.

The 24-member team is collecting DNA samples and medical details from families to match them with the missing.

This effort underscores the UAE's commitment to humanitarian relief in Libya.
