A new travel advisory has been issued by the UAE embassy in New Delhi to residents heading to India.
The warning comes amid continuing protests across several parts of India against a new citizenship law.
The embassy has advised travellers to avoid visiting areas with demonstrations and to contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Co-operation for more information.
