The UAE has expressed its solidarity with Kuwait after a fire struck an apartment building in the Mangaf area, which resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs conveyed its condolences to the government and people of Kuwait and wished a speedy recovery for all the injured.
The blaze erupted in a building housing workers in southern Ahmadi Governorate.
Authorities said that dozens were rescued, but there were many deaths as a result of smoke inhalation.
