The UAE has expressed its solidarity with Peru over the landslide in the Ucayali Region of the Peruvian Amazon that killed at least 12 people and injured 20.
The landslide sunk two boats that were on their way to other towns on the riverside, local health authorities has reported on Monday.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement expressing its sincere condolences and sympathy to the victim's families, the government and the people of Peru, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
