UAE expresses solidarity with Turkey following hotel fire

The UAE has expressed its heartfelt condolences and solidarity with Turkey following a deadly hotel fire in Bolu Province, which claimed the lives of dozens and left many others injured.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended its deepest sympathies to the government and people of Turkey, as well as to the families of the victims.

The ministry also wished a swift recovery to all those affected by the tragedy.

The fire at a ski resort hotel in Turkey's Bolu mountains killed 66 people and injured 51 others.

Authorities said that the fire began around 3:30 a.m. (0030 GMT) on the restaurant floor of the 12-storey Grand Kartal Hotel.
