The UAE Council for Fatwa is calling on specialists, experts and all community members to observe the crescent moon for Shawwal on the evening of Saturday, March 29, which corresponds to the 29th of Ramadan.
The sighting of the Shawwal crescent will mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan and the beginning of Eid Al Fitr.
The moon-sighting committee, under the Council’s authority, urges anyone who spots the crescent to report it by calling 027774647 or submitting their sighting through this link.
