The UAE’s weather authority has forecast unsettled weather conditions starting Tuesday, December 30, until Saturday, January 3, with expected dusty conditions and a chance of rainfall across the country.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has predicted partly cloudy to cloudy skies throughout the week, with rainfall forecast over some northern and eastern areas early in the week.

Temperatures are expected to decrease through midweek before rising slightly towards the weekend.

Fog or mist might also form in some coastal and inland areas later in the period due to humidity in the morning.

Winds are predicted to range from "light to fresh", causing blowing dust and sand at times that might reach up to 60 km/h.

The weather bureau also stated that sea conditions will be hazardous, with the Arabian Gulf experiencing "rough to very rough seas" early in the week before easing slightly, while the Oman Sea will be rough at times, becoming moderate towards the weekend.
