The foreign ministers of the UAE and France have discussed the latest developments in the Middle East and ways to address the humanitarian and relief response in Gaza.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Catherine Colonna reviewed the efforts being made to de-escalate the situation and emphasised the urgent need to protect civilians.
During the meeting in Abu Dhabi, they also discussed the strategic partnership between the UAE and France and reviewed co-operation in various areas, including trade, investment and climate change.
The two ministers stressed the importance of COP28 in achieving a major transformation in the global climate path that supports international efforts to achieve sustainable development.
