Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, met with Maka Botchorishvili, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, on the sidelines of the Arab Media Summit in Dubai.
The meeting underscored the strong relations between the UAE and Georgia and their shared commitment to expanding cooperation across a range of sectors, particularly culture, media and the creative industries.
Discussions focused on ways to strengthen cultural and media partnerships, promote people-to-people connections, and encourage greater collaboration through creative and knowledge-based industries.
The two sides also exchanged views on the evolving global media landscape and the opportunities presented by emerging technologies to support the sector's development.
Botchorishvili praised Dubai's position as a global hub for major international events and highlighted the Arab Media Summit's role in bringing together media leaders, policymakers and creative talent from around the world.
