The UAE Government is stepping up efforts to integrate Agentic Artificial Intelligence across federal entities, following directives from President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The initiative aims to transform 50 per cent of government sectors, services and operations to Agentic AI models within the next two years.
More than 300 officials and specialists from 50 federal entities have taken part in a workshop organised by the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, marking the start of the implementation phase.
Minister of Cabinet Affairs Mohammad Al Gergawi said Agentic AI will help government teams complete tasks faster, boost productivity and support the UAE's goal of building a more agile and future-ready government.
During the workshop, government teams identified priority services and operations that could be transformed using AI, with each federal entity required to select at least one service or process for implementation within 90 days.
The programme will focus on key areas including human resources, finance, procurement, legislation, digital services and government operations.
Officials say progress will be closely monitored over the coming three months to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and help drive the next phase of government transformation in the UAE.
