The UAE has announced that the third edition of the Government Annual Meetings will begin on Monday in Abu Dhabi.
According to the Dubai Media Office, the event will be chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
The event will see more than 500 local and federal government officials from across the country gather in the capital to discuss future initiatives and projects that will drive the country towards the UAE Centennial 2071.
Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, will share some of the regional and international challenges, while Reem Al Hashimy, UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director General of Expo 2020 Dubai will discuss current preparations for the grand global event during the sessions.
