The UAE air defence systems intercepted 12 ballistic missiles and 17 drones on Monday, according to figures released by the Ministry of Defence.
Officials said 15 ballistic missiles were detected, of which 12 ballistic missiles were destroyed, while three fell into the sea.
Additionally, 18 drones were detected, of which 17 drones were intercepted, while one drone fell within the country's territory.
Since the start of the Iran attacks, 253 ballistic missiles have been detected, of which 233 ballistic missiles were destroyed, while 18 of them fell into the sea, and 2 missiles fell on the country's territory.
Additionally, 1,440 Iranian drones were detected and 1,359 of them were intercepted, while 81 drones fell within the country's territory, and 8 cruise missiles were also detected and destroyed.
The attacks have resulted in four deaths, involving nationals of Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh, according to the ministry.
A further 117 people were injured, with those affected including nationals from the UAE, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Uganda, Eritrea, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Comoros, Turkey, Iraq, Nepal, Oman, Jordan and Palestine.
The Ministry of Defence said the armed forces remain on high alert and are prepared to respond to any threats targeting the country’s security and stability.
