UAE, Kuwait leaders pledge stronger Gulf cooperation

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has concluded a fraternal visit to Kuwait, where he met with Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait.

The two leaders held talks at Bayan Palace, reaffirming the deep-rooted ties between their nations and exploring ways to enhance cooperation, particularly in development and economic sectors.

The meeting also addressed regional and international developments, with both leaders expressing strong support for efforts to secure a ceasefire in Gaza.

They reiterated that a just and comprehensive peace, based on the two-state solution, is essential for lasting stability and the fulfillment of Palestinian aspirations.

Discussions also focused on strengthening Gulf cooperation, with both sides affirming their commitment to advancing the goals of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

Following the talks, the Kuwaiti Emir hosted a luncheon in honour of the UAE President and his accompanying delegation.
