UAE launches Gaza air bridge during Ramadan

The UAE has launched an aid air bridge to transport critical relief supplies to the Gaza Strip during the holy month of Ramadan.

It follows the directive of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, and falls under the UAE's Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians.

The aid will include food parcels, medical items and essential supplies to support families impacted by the conflict.

Several charitable entities in the Emirate will work together, overseeing the assembly of aid consignments and organising shipment and distribution on the ground.

Sheikh Humaid affirmed that the initiative reflects the UAE’s longstanding humanitarian approach of supporting those in need, particularly during a month that reflects the values of compassion and solidarity.
