The UAE has ranked 10th in the Global Soft Power Index for the fourth year in a row, announced His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
In a post on social media, he reaffirmed that under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the country's "global presence grows every day", strengthening the world's confidence in the UAE's "economic, social and international system".
The Global Soft Power Index 2026, published by Brand Finance, was unveiled at the World Economic Forum at Davos. The index evaluates 193 countries across key factors such as economy, diplomacy, innovation, and social stability.
The US took the first place, followed by China, Japan, UK and Germany.
The UAE also secured top ranking across other key categories, taking second position in giving, third in economic growth opportunities and eighth in influence in global diplomatic circles.
