UAE President advances development partnerships at World Governments Summit

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has held a series of high‑level meetings on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit in Dubai.

He met with several heads of state, government leaders and delegations attending the summit, including separate meetings with the President of North Macedonia, Gordana Siljanovska‑Davkova, and the Prime Minister of Latvia, Evika Siliņa.

Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations between the UAE and both countries, with particular emphasis on expanding cooperation in economic, trade, investment and development sectors.

The meetings also explored ways to deepen collaboration in areas that support shared goals of sustainable growth and long‑term prosperity.

In addition, the leaders reviewed the agenda of the World Governments Summit, which aims to enhance international cooperation and identify practical solutions to global challenges, improving government performance and societal wellbeing.

On the sidelines of the summit, His Highness also met with several African heads of state, prime ministers and senior representatives.

Talks focused on the UAE’s relations with their countries and a shared commitment to building productive partnerships that support development priorities and meet the aspirations of their people.
