The UAE and Kuwait have reaffirmed their commitment to closer economic and development cooperation following talks between President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
The meeting took place at Bayan Palace during Sheikh Mohamed's fraternal visit to Kuwait.
The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and international developments, including the situation in the Middle East, stressing the importance of promoting stability and lasting peace across the region.
The Kuwaiti Emir hosted a luncheon in honour of the UAE President and his delegation before Sheikh Mohamed concluded his visit and departed Kuwait.
He was seen off at the Amiri Airport by the Crown Prince of Kuwait, along with senior sheikhs, ministers and officials.
