President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is set to begin an official visit to Russia on Thursday, where he is expected to meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
The two heads of state will discuss various aspects of the strategic partnership between the two countries and ways to enhance cooperation, particularly in the economic, trade, investment, energy and other areas, according to national news agency Wam.
Sheikh Mohamed and Putin are also expected to discuss regional and international issues of common interest.
